On Friday, former President Donald Trump described his former Attorney General William Barr as “weak and terrified” and accused Democrats of using him as a pawn in their political game.

Following the presentation of Mr. Barr’s videotaped deposition to the House Jan. 6 committee during prime-time TV hearing on Thursday, the scathing rebuke was given. In the deposition, Mr. Barr condemned Mr. Trump’s claims of a stolen election and stated that he would leave the administration in 2020 as a result of these claims.

“Bill Barr was a weak and frightened Attorney General who was always being ‘played’ and threatened by the Democrats and was scared stiff of being impeached,” Mr. Trump fumed on his Truth Social social media site. “Bill Barr was a weak and frightened Attorney General who was always being ‘played’ and threatened by the Democrats.”

“What prevents you from being removed from office?” Do nothing, and especially don’t mention anything about the plainly rigged and stolen election, which may also be referred to as THE CRIME OF THE CENTURY! The Democrats got a lucky break with Barr because he was an idiot and stupidly claimed that there were no issues with the election, but they still let him off the hook. He remarked that although it was successful for him, it was not for our Country.

During the hearing, which was conducted by Democrats, the video of Mr. Barr was played to demonstrate that Mr. Trump was aware that his allegations of election fraud were not true. The Democrats blamed Mr. Trump for organizing a “coup.”

“I didn’t agree with the premise of claiming the election was rigged and disseminating this information. Mr. Barr stated in a videotaped deposition, “I didn’t want to be a part of it, and that’s one of the reasons I decided to leave when I did.”

He claimed that he assured Mr. Trump in at least three occasions that there was no proof of widespread election fraud in the 2020 presidential election.

The committee also showed a clip from Mr. Trump’s daughter, White House aide Ivanka Trump, giving a filmed deposition. She explained how she felt when Mr. Barr said there was no significant election fraud.

“It had an impact on my outlook.” In the video tape, Ms. Trump says, “I respect Attorney General Barr, so I accepted what he was saying.”

Mr. Trump also described the House Select Committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, incident at the Capitol as a political smear operation on Twitter. At the made-for-TV session, he said the committee cherry-picked film and testimony to defame him.

“As a result, the Unselect Committee of political HACKS has decided to utilize a documentary maker from Fake News ABC to spin only negative video, refusing to air any of the many positive witnesses and testimonies, refusing to talk about the enormous Election Fraud and Irregularities that occurred.” “Our country is in grave danger!” Mr. Trump wrote a letter.
