American CEOs used to be considered solidly Republican because they instinctively rejected Democrats who preferred higher taxes and more regulations, but in recent years, corporate boardrooms are have increasingly become dominated by ‘woke’ leftists who have embraced “social justice” as means of showing ‘corporate responsibility.’

But in doing so, these same CEOs are showing massive disrespect for our constitutional system and have become warriors for the countercultural left.

That includes American Airlines, who took the side of a whiny, left-wing passenger after she complained about a decal on a pilot’s briefcase, per Biz Pac Review:

American Airlines tripped all over themselves to quickly apologize to a leftist passenger who complained online about a pilot who had a “Let’s go, Brandon!” sticker on his luggage and proceeded to go viral for it on social media proving that not all publicity is good publicity.

Dana Finley Morrison, who has predictably set her Twitter account to private, decided to take a photo of the sticker and send it to American Airlines’ management and customer service asking them if they were okay with it.

“hey AmericanAir y’all cool with your pilots displaying this kind of cowardly rhetoric on their crew luggage when they’re in uniform, about to fly a plane? we are not the only passengers who noticed and were disgusted. today in UVF about to board to Miami,” she tweeted.

In response, American Airlines tweeted, “Thank you for bringing this to our attention and we want to get this to the right team. Please DM any additional details.”

But, as the outlet noted, “Morrison wasn’t done complaining. She had a whole back and forth with American Airlines representatives taking issue with the sticker. They assured her that her unconstitutional complaints would be reviewed by the proper authorities.”

“It’s disappointing that your team cannot provide a public position on speech that supports the insurrection / violence against the US government. This feels like the minimum that AA could provide to ensure loyal flyers feel safe about who is flying the AA fleet,” Morrison whined.

“We take this very seriously and have sent this over to crew leadership,” American Airlines responded. “They will handle this internally after review. We assure you appropriate internal review will occur.”

The proper response would have been something to this effect: “Our pilots and staff are grown men and women, and we fully support their First Amendment rights, the same as we support yours. Thank you.”

But of course, that didn’t happen.

And by the way, we feel compelled to say these every time someone erroneously refers to the Jan. 6, 2020, incident as an “insurrection”: It was a riot. Not a single person has been charged with or convicted of, the crime of ‘insurrection’ or sedition. And no one’s going to be; even the FBI has already determined this, as Reuters reported in August:

The FBI has found scant evidence that the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol was the result of an organized plot to overturn the presidential election result, according to four current and former law enforcement officials.

“Ninety to ninety-five percent of these are one-off cases,” said a former senior law enforcement official with knowledge of the investigation. “Then you have five percent, maybe, of these militia groups that were more closely organized. But there was no grand scheme with Roger Stone and Alex Jones and all of these people to storm the Capitol and take hostages.”

But we digress.

Twitter users responded to whiny ‘Karen’ who chose to be offended by someone she doesn’t know expressing themselves in a manner that comports very nicely with the First Amendment.
